Your adventure begins at 11 AM when our friendly tour guide greets you with a warm smile. Embark on a 30-minute guided farm tour, where you’ll explore our dairy, processing facilities, and the adorable baby camel paddock. Learn about the fascinating world of camel farming, discover how our award-winning Camel Milk products are made, and even get to taste them.
12:00 pm – Culinary Delights
As the clock strikes noon, it’s time to indulge in a sumptuous four-course lunch, featuring a taste of the Scenic Rim region, a Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel destination. Savour the flavours of the local produce and our Camel products. To elevate your experience even further, you can join a complimentary vodka tasting. Choose from a shot of your favourite Camel Milk Vodka or share a tasting paddle with a friend or partner. To finish, enjoy a delightful dessert paired with a complimentary cup of tea or coffee. Soft drinks, beer, wine, and spirits are also available for purchase.
1:00 PM – Insta-perfect Memories
After lunch, the fun continues as you hand-feed our friendly camels. Capture the moment with Insta-perfect photos and enjoy the company of these gentle giants. The experience concludes with a guided visit to our farm shop, where you can learn more about our award-winning products and pick up unique souvenirs to take home.
Although the official tour concludes here, feel free to stay a little longer. Try more products, pet the camels, and make the most of your day at Summer Land Camels.

We had the tour,taste and Camel encounter. We enjoyed the tour, we feed the camels and the tour guide was fantastic and knowledgeable on what she does. Good experience for kids. I like the taste of the camel milk, it's bad at all. They do have cafe on site but limited options with food and got lots of parking. Make sure when you go there you got wide brimmed hat, sunscreen and water. Lovely experience.

We had a great experience with Tour, Taste & Camel Encounter. Our tour guide Emily was humorous and very patient, especially with the many kids during the school holidays. She answered all their questions and made the tour enjoyable.
When one of my daughters had a nosebleed (because of the heat weather), the team and other visitors provided quick and professional first aid, which we really appreciated. Everyone was kind and caring. Kids loved feeding the camels and tasting the camel milk, salami, and cheese—everything was new and delicious. The café and camel gelato were also very yummy.
It was a pity we couldn’t ride the camels due to the age requirement, but it was still so much fun watching them pass by right next to us.

Perfect experience Excellent venue for a great experience. We booked the private tour, the farm was very busy so there was a bit of waiting time in the cafe for coffee when we arrived, but the tour of the gorgeous camels was very informative and the lunch that followed (with vodka tasting) was exceptional. Been here 3 times now within 4 months and that alone says a lot about how much we enjoy this place. We will surely be back & bring more family here for the amazing experience.
Free entry into the farm, Cafe on hand, gift store as well, meat available to purchase. Gelato made with camel milk is delicious, camel pie was nice, the camel ride was so much fun and a great experience for all ages.
My parents who are 75years had a great first experience and both laugh and smile everytime they talk about it.
Feeding the camels is breathtaking being up and close to them, they do come for the brown bag of food when your close and once they have a grip on it with their teeth, they will take it. Best is to just leave it and retrieve the brown bag after to put in the bin, once they have moved away if you can safely, do not go inside the barriers. Camel milk was ok, they also produce feta cheese from fresh camel milk.
We recommend Summer Land Camels for families to visit these holidays. The drive there is beautiful it took me back to NZ. Greenery farms and open space with mountains in sight, it is soothing to me, a change from the suburb and city drive.

Close encounters with camels, great food and amazing experience Highly recommended coming here for a close encounter with camels. My husband and I did the sunrise camel ride and breakfast package and was worth every cent. The staff are very knowledgeable- Katie and Joshua, Thank you. The camel pie is delicious, probably best pie we had in a while and the camel curry so delicious. You can also feed the camels too. Come with family or date. Camel riding was very fun and special, also I can feed the camels and take many nice photos.
The farm has many activities to do and the car park is big, very easy and comfortable.
I also try the camel milk café 🥛☕, the drinks are fresh, smooth and delicious. The café has cake, snack and also products from camel milk like skincare and vodka, very interesting.

Need to close later in the day so people can enjoy themselves for longer.

We went for the junior farmer day. The kids could not stop talking about the camels and wanting to come back again. They had a fantastic day. The pricing was really reasonable. They got to feed the camels and ride camels, Queenie and Little nugget. We had a tour of the farm and saw all the baby camels. There were also other activities for the kids like face painting, plaster painting and jewelry making and they were all extremely reasonably priced which made it a really perfect day.

Interesting to learn more about the camel farm and recommend doing the tour to go behind the scenes. We also were lucky and a baby camel had just been born in the last 30mins and was trying to take its first steps. The camel milk, salami and sausage rolls are also very tasty! Plenty of free parking.

My wife, two of our daughters, granddaughter and l went out so that myself, one of our daughters and granddaughter could do the 40 minute camel ride.
My wife said it was the most she had ever paid for a coffee. You have the option of cow or camel milk in your coffee. She also had a scone baked with camel milk, however, was not a fan.
I thought $70 for a 40 minute camel ride was a little excessive. But it has now been ticked off the bucket list.
The camel ride was very peaceful and the staff gave you some history of the camels in Australia, along with some facts about the humble camel.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this unique farm! Lots and lots of camels. Have heard there are 450! Zero cost to enter, then you pay for extras like camel rides, camel food, farm tours, etc.
Downside is unless you book online, you won't know when these extras happen. Would have loved to do the farm tour, but missed by 20 mins. There's a whiteboard on-site with times, which isn't helpful when planning your visit. Tried a camel sausage roll, and camel latte....yeah, box ticked.
Nevertheless, beautiful surrounds and mountainous background. Great to get up close to these majestic animals and hand feed them some hay. Plenty spread out /dropped on the ground!

I’m totally hooked on the camel milk, feta and salami. My partner and I did the short trail ride on Henry and Gully (They were awesome!) and then the farm experience and Emily and little Hannah were great at answering all of our questions! Good 1/2 day trip from Brisbane. We visited during one of the market days and would definitely recommend it. Lots of locally produced arts and crafts are available. Would have been nice if there were some sampling (even at a low cost if not free) of some of the camel products. Fairly good selection of food trucks at the markets - but usual food truck prices (expect a meal to be at least $20). On non market days, the cafe and farm store are available to buy products.

Wet and muddy riding tracks can be very dangerous for both the camels, and the riders, so when the rain is too intense, we unfortunately have to make the tough decision to cancel the rides.

Fabulous Family Day Out! We booked the Summer Land Farm Tour & Taste with our family and it was a wonderful experience. Out host Emily gave us a guided tour which was informative and memorable as we met some of camels face-to-face. We also stopped by at the Cafe and enjoyed the spectacular views of the Scenic Rim. My son loved the bubble-gum flavoured gelato. There is also a store if you wish to purchase skin care and other products. The staff on the farm are friendly and helpful. Informative and peaceful The taste and tour was fantastic, the information was worth the trip then the tasting and trial of products made on site was an extra bonus. Our tour guide made the experience exceptional with her commentary and her wit, the shop was fairly priced and I purchased many products due to being able to “try before you buy” I have come away with so much knowledge on camels, their history worldwide and how they came to Australia. I loved the little cafe. The view of the farm and the mountains was beautiful and enchanting. I tried the salted caramel gelato made from camel milk and the camel milk feta and spinach toastie. It was the first time I tried camel milk, and I must say, I simply loved it.
The place was swarming with flies and required quite an effort to keep the flies off the food!!
It would have been great if there were more vegetarian/ vegan options to choose from.
The only downside to the place was that they served camel meat; which seemed controversial to the concept of the place.
Visitors to the cafe have the opportunity to pet the camels and feed them after purchasing a bag of camel feed for $3.
There are paid camel rides and other activities at the farm.

What a lovely spot, we stopped in to catch up with friends coming from Warwick, and experienced delicious lattes and gelato made from camel milk. The kids went for a short ride and loved it. The staff were super friendly and the place was well set up and very clean and tidy.

All round camel fun! What a lovely spot, we stopped in to catch up with friends coming from Warwick, and experienced delicious lattes and gelato made from camel milk. The kids went for a short ride and loved it. The staff were super friendly and the place was well set up and very clean and tidy.read moreread less

An absolutely gorgeous farm run by a genuine and lovely crew. I got bogged nearby and the staff kindly sent a legend of a farmer in his ute over who got us unstuck.
Swung by for a smoothie and to check out the camels, and I'll definitely have to come back!
The camel milk is quite tasty and refreshing, the skincare products feel and smell amazing and my mates definitely appreciated the trinkets I brought back for them.
Highly recommend either booking in a tour or just stopping by for a feed, excellent place to take the kids and family for sure. I'll be back for a camel ride and my old man loved taking a trip over.

Fascinating & informative We did the farm tour & taste & it was really interesting. Our tour guide Emily was so lovely & knowledgeable & obviously loved the camels. The tour was fascinating seeing all the parts of the business & the tasting part was even better. It was a hot day & I forgot a hat so learn from my mistake & bring a hat! A True Gem We had such a wonderful time here. The 40-minute camel ride was lovely, the cameleers were friendly and very informative. Best of all, the camels were very well-behaved. My husband and I rode Longreach, a beautiful big camel I wish I could have taken home!The gift shop is well stocked with all sorts of products, toys etc, all good prices too. The cafe was lovely, and so was the camelchino.
We will be back, next time we'll do the sunrise tour because it sounds fantastic.

Despite having lived in Jordan, Middle East for 6-months this was my first opportunity to indulge my palate with camel. My selection; Camel Sausages and Herbed Creamy Potatoe Mash with a perfect rich gravy. Tasted just like chicken ????. NO! NO! NO! Just kidding it really didn't. Trust me. Camel for me has a unique and subtle flavour all of it's own, and for an adventurous cook this equals versatility and an unexpected alternative for a range of family favourites and limitless other culinary dishes.
I followed the moreish savoury dish of comfort food with a delicious salted caramel gelato. I rarely eat icecream as the aftermath on my health, simply isn't worth the short lived enjoyment. But living up to the health claim, camel milk based gelato didn't bring on any of the nasty side effects I often associate with cow's milk or even lactose free milk. I'm absolutely delighted with this astounding health benefit.
I got a bit carried away with the meal, but there is also so much more to enjoy at SCF for adults and kids alike, so venture forth and check out this special place and it's goofy but loyal occupants ????.
P.S. I nicknamed my favourite cheeky humped one; the little chestnut camel with the red tag, Trixie, because it was so damned tricky getting a good head shot.
Photos and experience over two recent visits. In fact I loved the whole package so much and Paul and Anne's vision, I bought myself a few shares.

Great place to visit just maybe not on a market day It was a great experience and we would like to visit again but not on a market day. The venue and the staff were fantastic without a doubt. What let down our experience was that weren’t enough staff on hand to handle the amount of people who attended the event. The queue for food and drink was incredibly long and people were getting frustrated. You could purchase food from vendors in the markets but for what they were selling their food for we would have rather had the more boutique food at the cafe for similar pricing. Staffing issues were also noticeable in the maintenance of the toilets with them frequently running out of toilet paper and soap to wash your hands after. We heard an elderly lady say this is the third time that she had to use the toilets due to medical issues and had resorted to using her travelers pack of Kleenex. The toilets were also difficult to spot because of the large number of people and high placing of the only signage which couldn’t be seen when down on the ground. We greatly appreciate the fact that staffing issues are a extremely difficult and challenging at the moment across all businesses at the moment in Australia at the moment as we ourselves also face significant challenges and shortages in our own businesses and to be honest we haven’t found the answer either. Everyone was trying their ABSOLUTE BEST and were extremely helpful and friendly we can’t say ENOUGH about how great they were. We even saw the boss man/CEO running around like a mad chook with his head cut off (can’t say camel with its head cut off they were just too damm cute) with his shirt soaked in sweat getting toilet paper and hand sanitizer for the toilets and that makes it to us a great place to revisit but not a market day to us when you see even the boss of the place being hands on and not afraid to get his hands dirty to do even the lowest job ( if you can call it that) and get in and support his staff and try to make sure all of his customers are happy. I did have some other issues from a oh&s perspective which I would like to discuss privately but DID NOT threaten to endanger to anyone willingly it’s just things about reducing risk/harm/liability. We are really sorry to hear that you we didn't meet your expectations. We did have a large crowd for our market day and we have had such amazing feedback from people who loved it, so it's great to get some constructive feedback as well.
Obviously with over 4000 people at the farm, our cafe won't be able to serve everyone, so as you mentioned, we had extra food trucks, dessert and drinks on offer, as well as live entertainment. We had 7 main meal food trucks and 6 dessert options, as well as a few drinks stalls. According to survey feedback, the wait for most of the day for food was about 10 minutes and up to 15 minutes. On market days our cafe serves a limited menu with meals such as toasties, pies, etc so we love that there are some really great options in the food and entertainment area.
Regarding the toilets, in addition to our 3 toilets, we also had 10 portaloos. I'm not sure whether you saw those, but they were right between the cafe and the market area, and in the food and entertainment area.
Thanks for your wonderful comments about our staff and CEO, Paul. We were all working hard all day to make sure everyone had a great experience.

We hope you return for a visit another day. We have lots of people who love our market days and come every time, however we know that some people like a more peaceful and quiet visit, so I suggest a week day might suit you better.
