Each stop offered something special, with spectacular food across all the venues. It felt really well thought out and beautifully paced.
Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and delicious experience.
The only (slight) bummer was that we had a little trouble receiving our post-tour info due to some technical glitches with messages going through Tripadvisor. If I could do it again, I'd just book directly through the tour operator and would recommend others do so as well.
We had a great guide - Colleen - who had a great vibe.
Highly recommended.
She made sure they knew my dietary requirements and emphasised my nut allergies.
An ideal tour for our first day in Melbourne, allowing us to see and learn about the city, and taste some delicious food.
Food stops were varied, and there was plenty of great quality food.
Collen was fun, informative, and knew her city well - a great host!
Thanks to Sandra and my fellow foodies - lovely day. Clare
Martina took us on a brilliant walking food tour today. We visited 5 delicious locations, and did 6 different tastings - from stand up coffee, cheese and gelato tastings, to sit-down Asian fusion and Mexican restaurants. It was all well chosen and exquisite. But in addition to this, we were treated to a walking tour of Melbourne and it's history. Marti's knowledge is rich, and delivered in such a natural and engaging way.
Highly recommend!!!
Good interesting tour Started with a couple of samples in a chocolate shop in the lanes, followed by a couple of delicious tapas dishes at a Spanish restaurant (enjoyed so much we went back later in the week for lunch), then on to a Chinese restaurant where we had two more delicious dishes. Final restaurant was a Peruvian one with two.more dishes, nice but not nearly as special as the first two restaurants. Finished off the tour with an ice cream. Tour guide was very informative and we saw a lot of very interesting sights that we would not have experienced on our own. Overall a really good tour.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend.
Family Food Tour Fun day with my family. A small group was a bonus. Guide had informative information about the area. Nice restaurants which were all accomodating to my dietary needs. Just thought that the restaurants were going to be a little different rather than mainstream restaurants that I had already visited all but oneThe highlight for me was discovering hidden away restaurants that only the locals know about. Places you would never discover on your own.
The food itself was fantastic!
The tour really highlighted what culinary magic can happen when ingredients from a rich and vibrant multicultural restaurant scene are mixed with the unique tastes of Australia.
A fun afternoon exploring Melbourne's best Our group of eight really enjoyed the four hour food tour. It's a great way to explore Melbourne's many laneways and secrets. There was plenty of delicious food. A great way to spend an afternoon.
