Glow worm night Great night to trek. Antoine make sure we are safe and also guide the way. Gave us an indepth description on glow worm cycle. Highly recommend. Tour start at 8 and ends around 12-1pm. He made sure to drop us all back to where we were staying.

We really enjoyed our experience with Wildscape Adventures when we went to see the extraordinary glow worms. Its not a difficult walk and it is hard to describe how magical it is to see the tiny creatures shining like stars in a cave behind a waterfall! Antoine our guide was helpful and knowledgeable. A couple of hours well spent. Its hard (impossible) to take a good picture on your phone because it's so dark, but I tried.

Amazing experience with Antoine, who showed us the marvelous world of glow worms! We saw thousands of luminescent little creatures in a cave under a cascade after a beautiful night walk in the Blue Mountains. An experience from another world! Thanks Antoine!

Our tour guide Antoine was excellent, very informative and his humour was great to put my GF at ease during the excursion to the caves, very beautiful experience seeing the worms. he also had a tone of information on how they survive and breed.

Also very experienced in the survivalist outdoors, kept us safe the entire time and told us exactly where to go and what to do. experience was overall adventurous and very informative. ☺️ definitely recommend if you like a rare sight of nature.

A unique and amazing experience My husband and I loved this tour. The experience of being under a cave behind a Waterfall with the glow worms as our only light was surreal and a great experience.
Only 2 countries in the world they exist, Australia and New Zealand so this was too good to pass.
The guide was helpful, he has great knowledge of nature and wildlife and shares his knowledge well. Our guide Antoine was happy to take extra time on the tour so we could experience this as a small group of only 8 people and waited for any other groups to leave before we went there.
This tour is not as well known as other tours in the blue mountains, it avoids crowds and much more relaxed.
I fully reccomend this tour, especially to anyone that likes nature looking for a unique experience.

Highly recommended this unique experience Antoine did a great job safely driving our small group to the trailhead and getting us down the muddy trail in the rain. The glow worms were incredible, like constellations of stars under the overhang behind the waterfall. We were back in Sydney by 1 AM.

What an adventure we had last night! We joined the “ Blue Mountains Hiking Glow worms Cave Wildlife Spotlighting Night Adventure”. We loved it. Our tour guide Antoine is very acknowledgeable about the glow worms and he explained well . He also taught us how to work out direction in the forest and at night. We enjoyed the tour!

Truly magical day spent with @ wildscape adventures visiting the blue mountains and glowmworm encounter Seriously WOW WOW WOW - we have just come back from our wonderful day spent on an adventure of a lifetime in the Blue Mountains and a glow worm encounter plus a visit to feather dale where we fed kangaroos and stroke koalas with Antoine (our guide). Antoine took time to find out what we really wanted from the tour and time with him and used his extensive experience and local knowledge to tailor our day. This was a day we will never forget. The familiarity with the area, skills and guides background made the day extra special. We can’t thank you enough @wildscape adventures. A tour for the eyes, not the camera The glow worms are beautiful in this tucked away little location. You walk into the bush literally on the side of the road, no crowds, no big tour buses, no one else outside the group—we had eight people total. Antione makes you feel very secure about walking through the bush at night, and took the time to individually show each of our group the glow worms close up. He clearly loves these animals a lot, and really cares about you having a good experience. Very nice, personal little tour, does exactly what it says on the tin.

Absolutely magical! The cave was like stepping into a galaxy—glow worms lit up the darkness like stars scattered across the sky. It felt as if you could reach out and touch the cosmos. Our guide, Antuan, was fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and full of fun facts that made the experience even more memorable. A must-do for nature lovers and dreamers alike!

My family of 6 with knee problems and kids from 8 to 16 had a great time with Anton on the amazing Sunset and Glowworms tour. Anton was very considerate and patient with us and a super humble guy whom knows so much. If you have any interest in nature and wildlife, you won't regret joining this trip. Anton taught us about the glowworms and the local ecology and some survival in the wild skills. We are only sad that we could spend only today with Anton and will definitely be planning to do the 2D1N camping trip with Anton soon.

Great tour. plan for a long night. Tour guide was EXCELLENT. Very knowledgeable.

However, it was more sitting in the van time than we anticipated. This is nothing to do with the tour guide himself (he was extremely kind and a great person to hike with), but we wish we were more aware of the nature of the outing before we went. We were the first picked up
And the last to be dropped off an extra hour on each end of a van speeding around Sydney was not appreciated. Glow worms were cool but we could not wait to get out of the van. It was just too long of a night driving for the minimal time spent in the cave.

The guide is knowledgeable, conscientious about protecting the environments they take you into and ensure safety. He respectfully dissuaded ignorant behaviors from guests, and ensured an intimate setting to enjoy nature- it did not feel like a tourist trap at all. The only thing I would do differently (which isn’t for everyone- but for those of us who actually enjoy being in nature) is to ask guests to shut the heck up for a while so we can listen to the sounds of nature instead of each other’s voice or a constant banter of a guide in the background. Moments of silence in the wild are priceless and I know it’s a tall ask of people these days but - hope they ask everyone to be quiet for a while in the unique spots they take folks to. Love their conviction and passion for nature. Cannot recommend Antoine enough!

Our guide, Antoine, deserves his own five-star rating. From the very first moment, his energy and humour made the group feel instantly at ease. He has that rare talent of being both a walking encyclopedia of the Blue Mountains and an excellent storyteller—sprinkling fascinating facts about the local wildlife, geology, and history with just the right amount of cheeky humour. One moment you’re learning about ancient rock formations, the next you’re laughing so hard you forget you’re on a trail in the dark.

The glow worms themselves were absolutely mesmerizing—like stepping into a galaxy hidden beneath the forest canopy. Antoine’s expert knowledge really deepened the experience; he explained their life cycle, behaviour, and the delicate ecosystem that supports them, all in a way that made it easy to understand and even more awe-inspiring.

The walk was perfectly paced, with just enough adventure to feel exciting without ever feeling rushed or unsafe. Antoine also had a knack for spotting wildlife in the dark that the rest of us would have walked straight past. Seriously, I’m starting to think he has night vision.

Cool Glow Worm experience. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The cave and waterfall were spectacular with the glow worms. Trek in fairly easy. It is up hill coming back so be prepared and maybe bring walking stick if needed I have short legs so some steps a little big for me. My daughter’s found it easy and loved it. So cool to see.

Antoine was great guide. We had a group of 7. My husband chose to stay behind in the (quite comfy) van because he had thrown his hip out and the hike to the glow worms was strenuous. It is about 5km down hill then back uphill. Antoine is good and looked after everyone and allowed breaks as needed. I am 50 and not a regular exerciser. So I could feel it at the end! But it was definitely a worthwhile experience unique to Australia / NZ and a really good tour!!

Both worms and Antoine were cool Great tour! Antoine was very knowledgeable about the area and about the glow worms. He is also a very straightforward guy — you need something, you ask him. It’s about 1.5 hours to the hiking trail. It was about a 30 min downhill hike in and 40 min uphill hike out. It was pretty muddy and slippery when we went, so I recommend actual hiking shoes.
The worms were incredible! They really look like stars in the night sky. They show up on the blue light the best, but red light hurts them the least. This was a truly unique experience, and I highly recommend it if you’re in Sydney!

Recently had a tour to the glow worms in the blue mountains. Amazing tour to the magical place! Our guide was prepared for any situation, had medical kit and went through survival training. The small hike to the place with glowing worms was short and easy but with such guide I felt even more secure!
The cave was magnificent with a lot of glowing. It looked like nothing I saw before. Definitely recommend this trip to anyone visiting Sydney!

When you turn your light off you see all these points of light some are tinted green or blue as well. Antoine was our guide, he was a wealth of knowledge but also gave us time in the silence to take it in. We had as much time as we wanted to stay in the cave. We took photos but they do not do it justice, you have to experience the moment. Antoine provided professional photos by messaging if we wanted them. The walk has steps and does require mobility. He was careful and concerned about our safety. He provides many other wilderness experiences and I hope to do a different tour with him.

Spectacular Glow Worm Experience After developing a mutual fascination with glowworms in New Zealand last December, my partner and I knew we HAD to make sure we saw them on our trip to Australia as well; and the Blue Mountains Hiking Glow worms Cave Wildlife Spotlighting Night Adventure was absolutely perfect! Unsure of exactly what to expect, we were thrilled to hear Antoine’s guarantee that we 100% would see glowworms and he definitely did not disappoint – we were graced with the most spectacular show of glowworms up-close and personal; they truly looked like stars lighting up the night sky. Though very different from our experience in NZ, we loved getting the chance to see them up close in ways we were only able to see them previously via photos. Antoine was able to show us in detail everything we remembered learning/hearing in NZ but hadn’t been able to see for ourselves. The hike to and from the viewing site was much easier (and fun) than anticipated, although it was wet and would likely have made it somewhat challenging for someone with ambulatory issues. Antoine was an amazing guide, sharing his breadth of knowledge about the glowworms while maintaining a fun and safe environment. Even if this is your first time even hearing the term glowworm, we both would 100% recommend this experience!

Recommended Experience! The tour was well organized and we did see a lot of glow worms! Our guide was also very knowledgable (and very friendly) and explained alot about glow worms and other animals that we were able to see as well as the blue mountains themselves.

Amazing eco tourism experience! Out of the world experience. Being transported under a galaxy of stars- glow worms in their natural site. A true eco- tourism experience. Our guide Antoine was highly informative and friendly throughout the tour. I did this with my 11 year old and we both thought it was one of the best hikes / experience we had!

The hike through the forest at night was a real experience in itself, but the glow worm cave was a very special highlight. Our guide Antoine took excellent care of everything and everyone, gave us lots of background information about the glow worms and answered questions about outdoor/survival topics on the hike back. A special experience to the wondrous world of how worms and the Blue Mountains We had fun right from the start, as Antione used his humour whilst he provided a brief with instructions to keep us all safe and able to enjoy the trek.
He was very informative, took the time to explain the life of the glow worms and how we, the weather and environment affect the glow worms.
On our way back, he took the time to share his knowledge about the plants that we can use as food, flavouring and also for cleaning.
Our kids have excitedly told everyone about their experience.
We also saw an eel, possum and funnel web, but we were safe.
The caves were illuminated by the glow worms, as if you were looking up at a night sky filled with stars. Just beautiful and serene.

I had a wonderful experience camping in a eucalyptus forest. Antoine is fun and knows everything about the forest and wildlife. It was interesting to learn some survival techniques too. He is also a great cook! Thank you Antoine!
