Stop 1: Happs Wines – Garden Tastings & Artistic Inspiration

Your first taste of Margaret River begins at the iconic Happs Wines, where you’ll enjoy a glass of wine and nibbles in the gardens, followed by a guided tour through the on-site pottery and art gallery where a live artist in residence will offer a rare glimpse into the creative spirit of the Margaret River region.
Stop 2: Aravina Estate – Wine Tasting, Pizza & Surf Culture

Next, we visit the stunning Aravina Estate for a guided wine tasting of their award-winning wines. Following the tasting, you will sit down to a relaxed, shared pizza lunch with your choice of a glass of wine, or a pint of beer/cider. After lunch, explore the WA Surf Museum located within the estate – a small but fascinating homage to the state’s legendary surf scene.
Stop 3: Vasse Virgin – Olive Oils & Natural Skincare

A sensory treat awaits at Vasse Virgin, where you’ll sample premium cold-pressed olive oils, dukkahs, and other gourmet delights, along with luxurious natural skincare products. It’s the kind of stop that delights the senses and often becomes a highlight of the day – yes, it’s really that good – make sure you try out the products at the hand washing station!
Stop 4: Windance Estate – Wine & Cheese with a View

As the afternoon sun drapes the vineyards, we arrive at the boutique Windance Estate. A small, highly awarded family-owned, bio-dynamic vineyard. Where you’ll relax with a glass of wine and cheese board while soaking in peaceful views of the vines. This is Margaret River at its most tranquil.
Final Stop: Shelter Brewery – Leisure at the Jetty
We end our journey at Shelter Brewery, conveniently located right at the foot of the Busselton Jetty. This is a drop-off stop (drinks here are at your own cost) but it’s the perfect place to enjoy a final brew or a scenic stroll along the shoreline before making your easy walk back to the tender. No rush, no pressure – just time to unwind and reflect on a truly unforgettable day exploring the delights of the Margaret River wine region.

- Allow 1 HOUR to get to shore. Busselton is a “tender-port”, with your vessel having to moor up to in deeper water, due to the expansive shallow waters of Geographe Bay. You will be ferried to shore on tenders which can take time, depending on the size of your ship.
- Have your documentation ready. Due to capacity limitations of tenders, some larger vessels will prioritise disembarking passengers based on their excursion times. Please ensure you have your ticket available showing your 10.00am collection time, to ensure you are able to disembark with enough time to meet the tour.
- Keep an eye out for your WINE FOR DUDES tour guide. The Busselton Jetty precinct is extremely busy on “cruise ship days”. Our guide will wait at the Busselton Jetty Visitor Centre and will be recognisable by the red Wine for Dudes diamond logo on their shirt! Please also keep your phone handy, ideally with Whatsapp, in case they need to call.
