TOUR ITINERARY: Half-Day West MacDonnell Ranges Tour


7:45 AM

Your guide will collect you from outside your accommodation in Alice Springs.

You’ll see spectacular outback scenery and have ample photo opportunities as we travel along the magnificent West MacDonnell Ranges, stopping at historic sites. 


MORNING

Visit the Flynn’s Grave Memorial for your first stop. Then, enjoy beautiful walks at Simpsons Gap, Standley Chasm (for morning tea). Our driver will pick you up from Standley Chasm to head back to Alice Springs.

You can expect to be back at your accommodation at approximately 11:45 am.

Effective to all travel beginning 1st of April 2025 – Your tour package does not include entry to Tjoritja/West MacDonnell National Park.

You can book the NT National Park Fee in advance here. Please ensure you bring your park pass with you on the day of your tour.

WHAT TO BRING

Travel voucher, water bottle (capacity 1.5 litres), strong non-slip walking shoes, hat (wide brimmed is best), flynet, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, casual and comfortable clothing (cool, light clothing is best in summer and warm clothing for winter), swim wear & towel (during summer).
