Take control of your own jet ski as you explore all of Magnetic Island’s coastline, visiting 23 breathtaking bays and beaches. Visit our famous Balding and Radical Bays and over coral reefs in Arthur and Florence Bays. Navigate secluded coves and rugged rocky outcrops within protected National Parks, visiting both the bays you know and hidden spots you don’t, including heritage-listed gems. Cruise past dramatic granite headlands, distinctive rock formations, and scenic coastlines rarely visited even by locals.
Along the way, try spotting a range of marine life and wildlife, including local sea turtles, rays, dolphins, seasonal humpback whales, and birds of prey. Swim in remote bays and gain insights from your local guides about the island’s ecosystems, wildlife, and unique landscapes. Finish your adventure discovering the untouched Five Beach Bays, the island’s most remote areas accessible only by sea.

INCLUSIONS
Jet Ski Adventure: Enjoy approximately 3 hours of guided jet skiing through Magnetic Island’s iconic coastline.
Equipment & EMC Included: All gear is provided: wetsuits or thermal tops, life jackets, goggles and dry bags. Your EMC helps support daily Marine Park management and reef protection.
Free Tour Photos: Receive full access to all photos captured by your guide at no additional cost.
TIME AND DURATION
Briefing & Start Time: Morning safety and tour briefing begins at 8:30 AM, aiming to be on the water by 9:00 AM.
Tour Duration: Approximately 3 hours on the water, with extra time for wildlife sightings. Expect to return between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM.
Total Time to Allow: Allow around 3.5 hours in total to cover the briefing, the tour, and any additional wildlife stops.

Twin Share: $220 per person (combined weight must not exceed 160kg)
JET SKI CHECKLIST
WHAT WE NEED:
English: Participants must have a thorough understanding of, and be able to communicate in, English.
Swimming Ability: Competent and confident swimmers only.
Weight Limits: Single riders: 120kg maximum. Twin share: 160kg maximum combined weight.
Age Requirements: Passengers with an adult (18+) must be at least six years old. Riders aged 16–17 may ride alone but cannot carry underage passengers. A parent or guardian must also be on the tour, with both providing photo ID and a Visa/Mastercard.
WHAT TO BRING:
Photo Identification: Each jet ski requires one valid form of photo ID, such as a driver’s licence, 18+ card, or passport.
Credit Card: A credit card matching the ID is required. No deposit is held; the card is only charged in the event of an incident.
Casual Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing — riders will be fitted with wetsuits or rashies.
Sunglasses & Hats: Tinted goggles are provided for sun and splash protection. You may bring a bucket or fishing hat with a strap (straw hats are not suitable).
Phone or Camera: Bring your own if you like; dry bags are available to keep them safe.
Sunscreen & Towel: Bring a towel and your own sunscreen if not pre-ordered. Sunscreen can be applied once suited up.
Water Bottle: A small reusable bottle (up to 600mL) fits in the jet ski glove box.

Daily Operations: Tours operate daily from Horseshoe Bay, with multiple departures per day during peak season, supported by our dedicated team of experienced guides who ensure quality, safety, and expert interpretation on every tour.
No Licence or Experience Needed: Everyone is welcome; no prior experience or licence required.
Jet Ski Adventure: This 3-hour tour takes you around all 23 bays of Magnetic Island. Swim in secluded bays, explore pristine beaches, spot marine life, and visit hidden locations rarely seen even by locals, all while enjoying guided interpretation, breathtaking scenery and the thrill of driving your own jet ski.
When the Wind Blows: If conditions prevent the full island tour, we’ll run our shorter Top End Tour and refund the price difference.
Small Group Tours: Limited to 10 people, guided by one or two qualified local guides.
Safety First: A full safety briefing and demonstration is provided before your adventure.
Minimum Numbers: Full Island tours require at least 2 jet skis (2–4 people). If minimum numbers aren’t met, we’ll run a shorter tour and refund the difference.

Below is a quick overview of what to expect on the day and what you’ll need to bring:
Timing:
Start Time: Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your tour start time to begin our safety briefing, unfortunately, we can’t delay for latecomers. For example, arrive at 8:20am for our 8:30am tour.
Tour Length: The on-water jet ski adventure lasts approximately 3 hours. Expect to finish between 12:00pm and 12:30pm.
What To Bring:
Photo Identification: Each jet ski needs one form of valid photo ID, such as a driver’s licence, an 18+ card, or a passport.
Credit Card: A credit card matching the ID. No deposit is withheld; the card will only be charged in the event of an incident.
Casual Clothing: Tour riders will be fitted with wetsuits or rashies (depending of the time of tour and conditions of the day).
Sunglasses and Hats: We provide tinted goggles for sun protection, if you have a surf or fishing hat with a strap (not a straw hat) please feel free to bring it along.
Phone or Camera: Feel free to bring your own, we have dry bags available.
Sunscreen and Towel: Bring a towel to use after your tour and, if possible, a reef-safe sunscreen. Once you’re suited up, we’ll show you where to apply sunscreen for maximum protection.
Water Bottle: Bring a small reusable water bottle, the jet ski glove box can fit 1 bottle up to 600mL.
