I checked with John regarding the day, and he advised that due to the heavy rainfall beforehand, he had asked the group whether they would still like to do the walk, given the muddy and slippery conditions. He understood that the group preferred not to proceed at the time. It seems there may unfortunately have been some miscommunication, and I’m sorry this wasn’t made clearer to you during the tour. I have spoken with him and reminded him to ensure every guest individually understands and confirms any itinerary changes or optional stops, particularly when weather conditions are involved, and communication can be more difficult while driving. Maits Rest is absolutely part of our normal itinerary whenever conditions are safe, and guests wish to proceed. I do sincerely apologise that this experience was missed for you. Hi, and thank you for the review. Typically, we always walk with the passengers, but you will recall that we had to leave two people at the 12 Apostles who were late coming back to the bus. I had to drive back and pick them up, while you walked at Loch Ard Gorge. It was unfortunate that you missed my walking talks due to the two passengers, but my preference was for everyone to have more time at the Loch Ard gorge rather than waiting in the bus for a long time for the late passengers. But I do agree, there is so much to see, and we try our best to work on schedule.

I am glad you had a great tour, and do apologise, we had to use our limo bus as one of our buses hit a Kangaroo. This was just a temporary change, and we wanted to maintain the comfort for you rather than hire a Toyora bus. I can also confirm that the issue has now been fixed, as the radio has an auto volume levelling feature that was switched on by mistake. This meant that whenever he increased the volume, the system would automatically lower the noise, hence loud and lower at times.

The vehicle used on this occasion was not our usual bus, but a luxury limousine bus that is typically reserved for musicians’ transport. This vehicle is equipped with an advanced audio system. I’m pleased to confirm that the issue has now been fixed.
