Very engaging tours Very glad I booked two trips with Tassie Tours - Bruny Island and Hastings Caves, Tahune Airwalk and the Huon tasting trail. Fantastic way to see some of Tasmania in a short time period! Andrew and Pascal are two lovely guys with lots of knowledge and passion about their home. They shared the information in a way that was both engaging and informative, and tailored aspects accordingly to the interests of the group. Really enjoyed both days - thanks to you both. 2 Day Cradle Mt and Wineglass Bay with other sites is a Must! This tour takes you to the breath taking Cradle Mountain and surrounding sites. We spotted a short billed echidna and wombat in the wild! Jodie was fantastic and very knowledgeable. The 2nd day saw us visit Wineglass Bay and surrounds. The Tasmanian coast line on the east is indescribably glorious. Photos do not do it justice. You have to see it. Unfortunately, I didn’t make it to the Wineglass Bay lookout as the track was a bit too steep and long for me. If you wish to go you need to have a good fitness level. Skye was a great guide making sure we were safe and ok. I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you Jodie and Skye for an enjoyable and memorable time.

The itinerary could be a bit clearer around the level of fitness needed for the lookout walk - as it was quite strenuous (uphill uneven steps)

I was lucky enough to go on the Bruny Island Tour AND the Wineglass Bay Tour this week! They did not disappoint! Both tour guides (Pascal and Bryony) were so knowledgable and approachable. Even though I live in Tassie, I learnt soo much throughout the tours - I keep finding myself sharing info I learnt with everyone I meet.

The food on Bruny is insane! I cannot recommend you try the oysters more highly. Best in the world. The beautiful lagoon we stopped at for a swim was so idyllic and the water was actually way warmer than I expected it to be - don't forget your bathers!

I loved how you could 'choose your own adventure' on the Wineglass Bay tour. I chose to walk down the 1000 steps to the beach and WOW! I'm so glad I did. What a spectacular part of the world. I cannot recommend these tours more highly 😍

Scenic day out at Bruny Island We had a lovely day out with Skye. Very scenic views at every stop. Our guide Skye kept us updated along the way and was very considerate given we were traveling with children and elderly parents.

Amazing tour on Bruny Island with Andrew

We booked the full day (10 hour) tour to Bruny Island and it was an amazing experience. The directions for meet up were clear and the driver was on time. The coffee and breakfast options at the ferry were delicious and we enjoyed getting out of the car on the ferry ride over. Every stop was intentional and informative. We walked a lot and had the option to enjoy great food and snacks along the way. Our driver brought us to some amazing beaches and his guidance and humor was top notch. The memories and photos we have of our day will be cherished. Thank you, Andrew, for a great time!

Perfect One Day Tour A fabulous day spent on Bruny Island! Our guide Andrew was amazing and extremely knowledgeable. This tour takes you to so many must see locations with plenty of stunning views. From Adventure Bay, the lighthouse, the little shops and the nature walks, this tour had it all. Didn't see as many white wallabies as I'd have liked but Andrew had a keen eye for the couple we did spot! Probably the best tour to book if you only have one day to explore the island. 5 stars!

Highly recommend Tassie Tours is a good ethical business.
On my day trip, the Tahune air walk was cancelled. The company refunded a portion of our payment for the airwalk, without any prompting from us. I have been cheated by other tour companies before, so I really appreciate this.

Our tour guide (?Juno/Johno/Juneau) was so friendly and kind. I had lost my jacket and it was cold, so he offered me his jackets throughout the day. It's a shame I hesitated asking him to clarify his name 😅.

The rest of the tour, Hasting caves- spectacular and apple pie- great touch to the trip.

A Well-Balanced Day Trip I chose this tour for several reasons. It did not start too early (9.30), had a few stops on the way, did not spend too much time at Port Arthur (4 hours), and allowed me to do a 90-minute cruise from Port Arthur to Cape Raoul. The latter was my main reason for booking the tour which turned out to be a very enjoyable excursion with a great driver/guide who looked after our small group of six with genuine concern for “making our day”. Highly recommended!

I have travelled twice with Tassie Tours this week and both times have been amazing. Today we went up to Wineglass Bay and with a little effort on my part and a lot of encouragement from Gino, my guide I made it to the lookout! It was well worth the effort. Must do day trip from Hobart Such a brilliant way to see a different part of Tasmania! From the pickup to the ferry and all the stops throughout the day, everything was seamless. Our guide, Jodi, was fantastic - so enthusiastic and keen to make it the best day ever. We had a good amount of time at each stop, nothing felt rushed, and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip to Bruny. The oysters at Get Shucked were hands down the best we’ve ever had! We even got extra lucky spotting a white wallaby and a joey peeking out to say hello day made!

Port Arthur and other stops by bus. Had a great day. Bus was on time, driver was good and as a guide he provided plenty of information. Port Arthur itself is impressive in its history and current beauty. The organization maintaining and presenting the site are doing a wonderful job.

Fun and beneficial experience Very fun tour with a fun guide. Guide was very helpful in finding our accommodation and dropping us off there which was very much appreciated. Worth the trip although if you would like to explore Port Arthur, worth staying for 1-2 nights to experience the large historic site at a relaxed pace which is what I did. Ticket also lasts 2 days which is helpful.

"A Memorable Journey with Paris" Our tour guide, Paris, was a very caring and conscientious person who was always attentive to our needs. She made a genuine effort in connecting with people. Her professional and accommodating attitude impressed us and made the journey memorable. There was quite a bit of walk uphill and downhill so get prepared!

A Memorable Bruny Island Experience with Andrew The tour guide, Andrew, was very welcoming and passionate. He knows everything about Bruny Island as he grew up there. We were so lucky that we were able to see white wallabies, dolphins, and black swans etc. Andrew managed to show us various spots with perfect time management. Excellent value day tour to Bruny Island from Hobart with Tassie Tours. This is a review for a tour last July 2024 with tour guide Bunsie. Pickup was on time from Hobart CBD. We enjoyed the drive out to Bruny in our mini van and taking the vehicle ferry across. We bought oysters on the way and stopped at a picnic stop to enjoy. First time trying an oyster! and it was very fresh and I probably won't have them again unless they are this fresh and from the pristine Tassie water!

We stopped at the Neck and walked up all the stairs to the lookout but unfortunately the weather closed in on us and we got soaked. We drove around and managed to spot the famous white wallabies. We did a nice little rainforest walk and listened to the birdies. We had a delicious pub lunch at the Bruny Island Hotel / pub (not included). The orders were called in on the way so they were ready for us when we arrived. We stopped at the Lighthouse and most southerly point in the afternoon.

My only suggestion is not to stop at the Bruny Island Chocolate shop as the staff was very rude and the chocolate tasted terrible - we all regretted buying.

The queue for the ferry on the way back was long so we had to wait about 30 minutes, but Bunsie's stories and banging playlist of 60s and 70s classic rock kept us entertained. Bunsie has also seen Neal the Seal in the flesh! We had an excellent day and were back to Hobart by about 5.30pm.

Went on a tour to Bruny Island on my own. Jodi was amazing, the best guide who looked after all of us. She was very knowledgeable, caring and supportive to those of us who needed more encouragement to keep going even when out of breath or a little lost, she was right there. She definitely made my day the best experience which was more than I expected. I will definitely let my networks know which tour company to join when they visit Tassie. The Bruny Island full day tour was well organized. Alex performed an excellent service of not only taking care of every passengers on the minivan but also telling us about the history, economics and some side stories about this island. Travelling with Tassie Tours is highly recommended, and even better with the tour guide Alex.

The 3 day Hobart highlights tour was the perfect birthday gift for me and my partner on our birthday. Mark and Andrew were great. Safe drivers, very knowledgeable. I love that Andrew knows Bruny Island like the back of his hand and Mark is so well travelled,he was very engaging and such a good story teller. Excellent tour of Hobart and surrounding areas. You'll visit the charming village of Richmond, the Bonorong wildlife preserve, the wonderful Hobart outdoor market (Saturdays only), and the summit of Mt Wellington for spectacular views. Our guide (Mark) was great, providing interesting factoids during the entire trip.

Joey was great and the tour is worth your time and money. Joey was super informative, nature and wildlife were outstanding, and the weather was just on point to enjoy all the activities. Please find time to visit Bruny Island, you won’t regret it!!!

Yesterday, we had a very experienced local tour guide, Gerard, who took us to Mount Wellington, Salamanca Market, The Wicked Cheese Co, Richmond Bridge and Bonorong Wildlife. Not only was Gerald approachable, but also he answered our questions about these places openly.

Today, we had another friendly and approachable tour guide, Campbell who made the entire trip to Port Arthur Historic Site fun and enjoyable. He shared what he knew about the history of Port Arthur to prep us before we reached the place. He also showed us different places along the route as bonuses. We happened to see a coach under Gray Line that did not even stop at a scenic spot (in fact, the coach just drove past the spot and left) whereas we had the photo opportunity. So well you know why we prefer Tassie Tour over bigger tour companies.

One more thing to add, we had a very experienced local tour guide, Andrew, who took us to Bruny Island today. He was born here and he was from Bruny Island. How lucky we had a local guide to tell us everything we need to know about Bruny Island. The lunch at Hotel Bruny was great too. A totally enjoyable experience with Tassie Tours.

Incredible Bruny Island - Tasmania Truly enjoyable tour. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, fun and patient. He customised our tour with a balanced mix of breathtaking landscapes, as outdoor activities, and tasting of the local produces of Bruny Island (fresh oysters, local honey, local cheeses). This great balance allowed our 4-years old son to be fully involved and enjoy together with us the nature (including spotting the white wallabies) and the food. Highly recommended for any age brackets.
